The burn upon your back Oh, I remember it well The shriek passed through your lips The awful, gastly smell Why I ever put it there That I do not know Far too gone my mind was I should not have let go His words were dipped in honey His smile captivatingly sharp He kept the knowledge which I craved He snuck into my heart He drove my thoughts of you away Seduced me with his charm I danced his tune Performed his art Made his puppet Played the part How I wish for nights turned back How I want for only their change For if dreams could turn reality This path would not lead to shame Alas, the Guilty cannot rise to fame The Bitter cannot hide from pain We all work to beat this game None are blameless in this quest for change Yet minds still sharp and full of wit Will rise against the hellish pit Can bring an end to it all Stop gods and masters standing tall Fight against the rising tide Prove that we are still alive Have His plans brought to the grave Take home back and save the day For whether you're safe or whether your not You won't allow our friends to rot Don't show me why I love you still Don't make this burning pain too real Never to think of what you lost While we weep for what it cost Should have been me to take the blame But then, you and I are just the same

Ah yes, I still write poetry. I almost forgot, haha. I was blindsided by Ford (Gravity Falls) feels while in the middle of watching Dead Poets Society, so yeah.
