Acceptance is so hard sometimes
But it's all that you can do
When even you don't know what you want
And why you do the things you do
You are holding on to a dream so tight
So afraid you will awake
So you shut your eyes and stay asleep
And one more step you take
When one loves without demands
Never questioning even why
Blindly following with all their heart
And trusting with unseeing eyes
What joy can be found in all of this
So very much if one does wish
To patiently see what the future holds
For a love as strong as this
