We explored each others bodies and whispered sweet nothings. Our song came on. The connection between us surfaced, so it's ridged edges could be seen and gentle hands could glide across it. Knowing that it exist. The thing we fear the most, out in the open. Leading to an emotional want, that in this moment could only be explained physically. Bliss overcame us as our naked bodies lay in perfect union next to each other, with a desperate need to be closer. A deep slumber fell upon us, as the chill of forty degree weather caressed us under a blanket. There we were, two lovers. Satisfied and safe from the distance.
