A boring day flew by,
Beneath my privileged eyes,
Work is working, or so I pretend,
Friends are not so far,
Few texts that warm a heart,
Read with a smile,
And dumb ones I send,
Hoping to share a light.
Some special ones, though,
I keep hoping to read,
Oh, to be a dreamer.
The day flew by, I close the office,
And say a kind "See you tomorrow"
To the funny receptionist.
The sun is yawning, about to set,
The desire to walk caught me,
So I stroll along the water,
Mind lost in thoughts,
Dreams lighting the skies,
And find my favourite spot,
Cosy rocks overlooking the sea,
Peaceful music of waves, crashing,
Kissing sunny cliffs,
Over bright pink skies,
Delightful views,
Soothing a soul,
Navigating the clouds.
I witness the world
In its purest nightgown,
The red sun diving,
Quietly in the sea,
As waves keep waving,
Sounding like heartbeats,
With an ephemeral twist,
Whispering goodbyes
To a lovely day.
