All of a Sudden

All of a sudden

your face came to mind.

The feel of your hand

on the small of my back,

the feel of your lips

tickling my neck.

The sound of your laugh

Haunting!

The smell of your skin

Intoxicating!

All of a sudden

your face came to mind

my heart broke

again

and I realized

just how alone I am.
