You are so kind to be my guide I spent most of my life blind trapped away from the light You are so kind For not leaving me behind showing me the path I couldn't find lending a hand to hold through the night You are so kind To let me call you mine releasing me from the ties that bind the grace you show shines bright I want to be so kind To tell the truth all the time Even when it stings the pride I don't want to give in to the fight I want to be so kind To forget that I need to hide I want to be so kind Not lost between the echoes of my mind.

Tough Love Toward the Unkind
You are so kind to be my guide I spent most of my life blind trapped away from the light You are so kind For not leaving me behind showing me the path I couldn't find lending a hand to hold through the night You are so kind To let me call you mine releasing me from the ties that bind the grace you show shines bright I want to be so kind To tell the truth all the time Even when it stings the pride I don't want to give in to the fight I want to be so kind To forget that I need to hide I want to be so kind Not lost between the echoes of my mind.
