I know things are scary right now. I know what it's like to open your eyes and find nothing but charcoal, black, emptiness staring back at you. To stand frozen at the edge of the unknown, terrified that with one wrong step, you'll collide with the monsters lurking in the dark; the ones you've heard whispers about, the ones your mind has already given shape. I won't lie to you. Sometimes, even now, that fear still creeps in and sinks its claws into my spine. I've learned something, however. Stay in the darkness long enough , and your eyes will adjust: when they do, you'll see the truth. The monsters you feared were never real, simply the same old clutter casting shadows on the wall.

Dear Little Sister
