I see you in the darkness. I see you in the light. I want to step into your skin. I want to burn from within. This vessel wants to carry you. This vessel wants to fly. I don't want to be myself, And I don't want to try. Hear what I'm thinking of; What I'm too afraid to say. Would you still love me… Do you love me? Am I ok? I want to sit with you under the moon. I want you to tell me about everything you do. Tell me that I'm good enough, And that I'm just like you. But wait, I've lost the great test. To be you, I want to be someone else. And you, You would never change yourself.

The Vessel
