A young heart, fragile and whole
Unperturbed by the reality of the world
Blissful ignorance and glowing souls
Every experience felt ten fold
A young heart, tender and warm
Giggles of laughter within this storm
Like the protection of an old trees bark
An innocent smile that keeps out the dark
A young heart, undisturbed and still
A life force of incomparable will
Lighting the candles of old and lacking wicks
Simple and yet to be complex
A young heart, passing through time
The path of life is not a straight line
Remember and do not harden so
There is never a need to grow old

This was a one of the poems from an assignment in school, meant to be based off William Blake's poem style.
