That part of me did frown.
Never knew the way down.
Of course, I had hope,
I had my winds, I had my flows.
Of course, I had my thoughts!
Believed you'd put me down,
yet I wanted the crown.
Of course, I had my word,
I had my praises, I had my voices.
Of course, I had my thoughts!
Danced the starry night,
swayed the wine glass.
Of course, I had my humor,
I had my cons, I had my emblems.
Of course, I had my thoughts!
Drenched in the rain's wrath,
along with your poetic voice.
Of course, I had my manners,
I had my noises, I had my pros.

I don't write perfectly but I have this believe that there's no perfections margin when it comes to pouring out our thoughts in poetry.
