A Nobody

Shy quiet girl sitting in the corner

Fighting to break free from your shell

Afraid to speak what’s on your mind

For it may not be what others think

Afraid they laugh at you behind your back

Feeling what you say is just not important

You’re not smart enough for your opinion to count

You’re ignorance shows each time you speak

So instead you hide and let the world pass you by

So you’re not condemned a stupid freak.
