There is a special person-
and, not just to me, alone,
but to all of us who see her
as one of our very own
She got promoted some time ago-
and what a terrible loss!
But, regardless, we remind ourselves-
that she remains to be our boss.
I made a promise to myself-
that every now and then,
That I would try to make her smile
as often as I can
I could have sent this piece of work
by email, fax, or text
But this way its been immortalized
out of love, and deep respect.
