If words we had to say
and not end up being eaten
on Thanksgiving, or even
Christmas day

If our meaning misconstrued
let us say emphatically
we'd prefer, not winding up
as holiday fare, or food

we're just birds of a feather
with, a non-edible

Domestic turkeys are so stupid, they will drown in the rain, looking up :)
In contrast, wild turkey's are among the smartest of fouls!
