Untitled

you were brains and logic

the world became clear

before you, there was nothing here

you were my guiding light

i was stumbling by

before you, i was a lonely guy

you were beauty and faith

i couldn't let you go

before you, my life was slow

you were new and exciting

loving better than most

before you, i was a wondering ghost

you were encouraging

traveling to places near and far

before you, i lived in the dark

you were capable and healthy

my heart beat for your heart

before you, my soul didn't start

you were what you still are

i can go on for days

before you, there's not much to say

you are my passion and drive

and forever will be

you are my beautiful hope

that's helped me find me

in you
