fireflies i see you've hushed your crys as they wizz in the night sky chirping bright. stop now please. dropping to my shaky knees a jar my hand swiftly catching this firefly these lies i sit with, reside. admire the glass from outside in. blink firefly flicker back again why can't you always stay lit ****** when i need your light and feel eyes tire wanting you, flicker back quick even if you're a liar. take it, you're lies are why im living. what is it? what. tell me. a pattern, a method, a test, a joke, a beautiful pain , a way to tell me that i will never control this? my knees buckle, drag on this ****** floor. don't turn your lights off again to make me less. sometimes you're my only escape, fine i'll admit it. you're the only reason i can see through death, i'll admit it. never finding meaning in strife when it's bright, never finding meaning in light when i feel like your toy. one more dim of the firefly break the glass between me and me. tiredness, let's accept this in harmony we'll breath once more before we fly away.

These Fireflies See Suicide
