I want sadness turned into anger I'll stick my hand into the blender Just to feel a blade drag across my skin — On my forearm it'd be a sin. I want anger to consume me Control over my choice I want it to grow in me Speak as my inner voice. With anger it's easier To maintain what I have For once I won't have to Lay down and give up. I wouldn't just cry, I would stand With fury in my eyes Clenched fists and teeth I would barge into any room Radiating a toxic tune I'll get rid of once I fall, I am better angry Than just sad.

Anger over sadness
I want sadness turned into anger I'll stick my hand into the blender Just to feel a blade drag across my skin — On my forearm it'd be a sin. I want anger to consume me Control over my choice I want it to grow in me Speak as my inner voice. With anger it's easier To maintain what I have For once I won't have to Lay down and give up. I wouldn't just cry, I would stand With fury in my eyes Clenched fists and teeth I would barge into any room Radiating a toxic tune I'll get rid of once I fall, I am better angry Than just sad.
