Love, can be an essence of life Or the heart’s knife An opportunity to find someone better Or come back to this heartbreak letter I don’t want to love anymore For it just continues this endless lore I’m ought to be rejected A soul which will never be tested Why do I always fall for someone new? And get covered in this red hue Praying my love to finally go through All to fall back to by mystery-true I just want a break From this constant pain For my heart can’t take anymore strain So, I end this cupid’s reign I do not mind being single solitude’s stillest mingles. Yet this foolish heart Keeps falling – only to split apart To make myself better And convert sawdust to stardust By cleaning out the dust called lust And finally regain my lost trust This heart is a defeated knight Who finds no glory in any fight Still standing from day to night But never in delight I think its time to put the sword down as in this love town I am always meant to frown

Retiring from love
