I stare at those pages, my mind wanders too, a random thought. Like dogs and puppies in cages, one man did not know what he had to do, so the SPCA changed what he had wrought. I read the words on the page, but it takes ages, Reading and re-reading two times two, Drifting to shopping earlier that day, what had I bought? I know, I remember, now, 6 dark bars of chocolate, with my wages, Some cheap, a sale, some fine quality, still, I did not know what to do, about the puppy mill, so yes, I finished reading, ate what my craving sought, Am I that shallow or should I rage, about defenceless dogs hoping that man gets his due, Or gather my vice and read my book, whether I see the the words or not?

Shaking my head till it feels good
