Holding the hand Ever so tender Unraveling motions Of my heart swelling dry I look up to your eyes Vacantly gazing And wet stains of sorrow Can’t keep my serenity-mimicking lie Darkness can blanket my face. But the nightlight is betraying yours I can hear you breath But you can’t hear my words.
