Denudated souls Degrading wood Floats around Noone to hold onto Nothing to grasp at Hunger to breathe Greedy for air I lay Eyes open Hair dancing on top of the blue waters I sleep Eyes open And I watch myself sleep With eyes open The greens weren't far away The trees were close by But my eyes they last saw The degraded histories So many living and dead histories I watched myself slowly sleep With eyes open

Middle of the sea
Denudated souls Degrading wood Floats around Noone to hold onto Nothing to grasp at Hunger to breathe Greedy for air I lay Eyes open Hair dancing on top of the blue waters I sleep Eyes open And I watch myself sleep With eyes open The greens weren't far away The trees were close by But my eyes they last saw The degraded histories So many living and dead histories I watched myself slowly sleep With eyes open
