Calling your name through the leaves, The dirt swallows us whole. Calling your name through the leaves As the sky smothers us. A soul no longer breathes. I don’t know where I’m going. Lost in a map where words are flowing. To what end I don’t know. I’m tired. I’ve argued, quarrelled, and fought every last drop of energy.
