there are some the miserable and staid who will point out feigning humour with sedate sarcasm that for all its beauty of flowers blooming bright and buoyant the inspiring curiosity of the natural world re-emerging or returning to thrive once more this resplendent equinox simply means that the longest day of the year has now passed that nights will lengthen and begin to encroach more and more upon our sunlight hours so that in no time at all winter will have returned and another year slipped by
