i'm making wishes on flames, that burn and fade away. i'll cut a piece of cake, and pretend like i believe, and wait. they say you can't rekindle a flame once it has burned away; but i want to think that you're the birthday candle that keeps re-lighting; you know, those trick ones? I use all my breath and blow out the flame, i don't want to get burned, but now the light's all gone. I'm starring at the cake just hoping you'll light up my world up again. Maybe I should just enjoy the cake, but I'd rather wait. Please don't make me wait. NJ2015 (All Rights Reserved)
