If I can't say that I tried When my hair's no longer black. If I curl up and hide Fixated with looking back. If you close the door behind you With the choice no longer shared. Will I miss you, my darling You of which I am so scared. If I do not continue to explore Will the mind simply forget. If I choose to close the door With unwanted decision set. If you do not share the feeling That which has brought me to this place. Will I miss you, my darling You that understands my space. If by fate it is intended That the heart shall be set free. If decisions of the past Lead to a different tree. If desire starts to wain Then apart it is to be. Will I miss you, my darling You that set me free.
