as i sit here, words quietly slip away, like dandelions blowing their seeds everywhere, until all that remains is the ache of what once was here... a dull throb of memories, anxiety, fatigue... not an answer to any question, not even the ones i'm afraid to ask myself, but not a threat to survival, either... just the breeze, the seeds, the pain, and a quiet determination that i'm stronger than this nightmare. even if i can't see it, don't feel it, i choose to believe it, and i'll make that choice again and again until it becomes as natural to me as breathing. strength welcomed in.... and darkness pushed out... the mechanics of life, one breath at a time.
