You curled your lips when you write;
Your addictive laughs echoed in my ears;
Time stops around me when i stare at you,
... but then you stare me back,
Don't deny it, don't deny this feeling;
We are like opposite magnets;
Pulling each other emotionally;
You can resist but God please don't,
... but then I remembered,
I miss our little game at the bookstore;
I miss how we flipped pages of books and read random sentences;
I miss how deep you stared how deep you listened to my problems;
I miss your sleepy voice when we talked for hours by nightfall,
... but then you pushed me away,
We talked but we never really talk;
We played our staring game still but you never admit it;
We worked together but you were never there;
We texted but your mind was somewhere else,
... but then I got hurt,
Hurting because of your ignorance;
Deeply cut because you weren't there when I needed you the most;
Scarred because you shut me away into the dark void;
Dying because of this undying love,
... but now I know why,
Yes we're still friends but I'm just your acquaintance;
No we stopped texting you blocked me away;
Yes we met and talked but you were forced to do so;
No you don't want to see me ever again,
... but now I'm still hoping
