Remember when we went to Disneyland? And how you let me listen to your favourite bands? Remember when you used to swing me so high? And now in bed, I lie, Eyes open, staring at the ceiling, And I see you over me leaning, But it isn’t real because you’re long gone, Yet I’m still here on the bed with a yawn, But it doesn’t matter because your not here, You’re probably off somewhere drinking a beer, Remember how you used to hold my hand? How I can’t understand, Why you’re nowhere near, Why I’m at the pier, Contemplating whether I should let myself drown, While your all the way out of town. Remember When.

Warning: Mentions of suicidal thoughts. Wrote this for my absent father.
