I did not get to know the sun; Or the moon when the day is done. I did not get to know the breeze; I bet it makes people feel at ease. How does it feel to be warm or cold? Why do trees change colors when they get old? But it is okay—I am at peace, I understand your choice at least. I tell you this because I know I can't stay; I was too soon, the both of you cannot sway. The motions of your young adult life; Your dreams of a family, as husband and wife. I just have one wish, Mommy, Daddy— Please, don't forget about me. Though my life was brief, let love remain; Live my life, full of love, not pain.

One Wish
