the red-brown color of this rock reminded me of you as the rapids pushed cool air onto my damp skin. the trees here remind me of a jungle.     i would be jane, you tarzan…or        the other way around? i can’t tell today, it’s been that long since i’ve seen you.

River Rocks
the red-brown color of this rock reminded me of you as the rapids pushed cool air onto my damp skin. the trees here remind me of a jungle.     i would be jane, you tarzan…or        the other way around? i can’t tell today, it’s been that long since i’ve seen you.
This was one of the very first poems I wrote, it was probably written in 2009? 2010? Anyway, it was written while relaxing by a familiar river, reminiscing about persons I hadn't seen in a long time.
