You see a bridge I replay a memory. A memory of something That never happened But I imagine. It was part of my plan. Go there at the black of some night After making sure the screams Had turned into loud snores. I’d stand on top for a while, Watch the stars and the city lights Capture a perfect view So I could go away peacefully. I’d climb up, heels near the edge And replay moments in my head The bad ones, not the good To remind myself why I was doing this. And finally When I had enough courage I would Fall Fall Fall Into the darkness.

Bridge

21:26 4/5/26 I went past that bridge today and now the plan is back in my head. This isn’t my best poem but I kind of wanted to let this out.
