In the race of likes and shares Our minds are tangled in wires Trapped in a network of webs Tapping screen till our thumbs hurt Seeking the pleasure; that we shall never get I wish we had not become the zombies we are today Depending on tech and calling it a need Disconnecting ourselves from what is important; Just to make our lives easier, a never ending greed We forgot to look away from the white curtains Showing us an illusion; providing us a temporary escape from our burdens.
