whats happened to the world today
love and peace as gone away
its not like it used to be
when were happy and felt free
now theres violence and theres war
its not like it was before
needless killing blood to spill
life no longer is a thrill.
perhaps one day there will be light
and the world again be bright
until then we love in hope
and for now with life we cope.
