I feel so lucky to know queer love. Everyone I have loved lives on in me in my hands on my lips in the way I stay. They are patches on my worn jeans, visible, mending, stitched where I needed them most. I thought endings would be hard but queer endings are different: they are generous. To love for the sake of loving To be community To be lovers. To watch someone you love love again to feel their skin brush mine in memory to taste their warmth as it moves onto another body. I am better for every love I’ve known. Nothing wasted. Nothing lost.
