You can see it in my eyes
I giggle when you kiss me and
Leave love marks on my thighs.
I cannot voice my thoughts aloud
You know I cannot say
I love you dear, I always will
I’m just not quite that brave.
We said it once, we said it twice
We said it every day.
And even though it’s comfortable
It’s just not quite the same.
It’s better now, I can’t describe
The way you make me feel.
It felt so strange not having you,
But now my heart can heal.
When I see your face and hear your laugh,
My heart feels fully free.
Every time you touch my hair
I’m happy as can be.
But I cannot say I love you yet
I must admit I’m scared.
