Drums of Love

The plain field turns down a clear path to exaltation,

Countless time we spent mesmerizing inside twilight.

I imagine the softness of her skin or just dream about the touched

Of her kiss, tensions before the last questions to be answer.

The love from within or should I said, the lust waiting for the truth

To penetrate the untouchable journey, a lifetime of blows,

Always come back to that night, our embrace was brief

I felt each bone of your body trembling; it wasn’t fear of falling in love;

Thoughts crumbling down my vein, allowed the sensation of nakedness

To corrupted any piece of mind.

The walk back through my nightmare was interrupted

By a soft voice touching the cord of my soul,

Them a sea of silence came across the clouds

So I can reach for the stars and sang.

A picturesque frame with a notion of surrender,

Candles are lit in front of the illusion,

Wait for a wink of an eye to fill the empty cup.

The road ahead force the wind to catch his breath

Simply hold on, don’t let go.

The sincere approached of a concubine

Strolling towards an invincible altar

Pondering on the moment of truth

She began to tear her veil form her face

Forcing the thinking man to sit inside

Rendition.
