There's nothing quite like the scent of lent lilies wafting upon the wind Golden clarions of hope and faith heralding the first breath of spring Flowering just to be, natural beauty free from both vanity and enmity Neath tears of the sky, they smile, in moonlight, reposing in serenity After seasons of slumber in their earthly beds, they rejoice in life anew Amidst a world of unrest, Thou whisper words of hope as the daffodil Ancient roots of the leafless oak tree welcome springtides' first blooms Mother Earth gives unconditionally, the greed of the world consumes Afore bidding farewell to another day, prayer hath a few words to say Please shower Thy love and light upon all of mankind, I humbly pray That peace may reign supreme, thus transcendence of the egoic mind Bless all sentient beings in all worlds, let not love & truth be confined...
