Veni vidi And she Conquered me, What plans I wrought Like Vesuvius Dissolved the land, Entombed the people, And ashes will still rain A reminder, Can I No longer forge ahead Without her? A master planner, What others seek Have I found? Though unlike dreams That fade As the sun rises She is brighter than, And maybe Even if There is no empire Vici, She is my world And I am A constant satellite... APAD17 - 001
