The waves are crashing down upon you
threatening to swallow you whole
You've fallen so deep under
I can't save you now
Going down down down
I'm afraid you're gonna drown
Yet you continue talking
choking on your words
Stuttering and spluttering
you're only making things worse
Inhale, exhale
breathe out, breathe in
Just stop trying to fight the tide
don't you know this is a war you can't win?
