It'd be cute to start a poetry game if you do game nights! It's fun  and creative. =) just do poetry competitions with a group of creative people. He'd have to join than.

Not everyone who is poetic knows they should write poetry. Allow him to keep saying everything out loud because, sometimes, writing it all down is what destroys them because that makes it real.
