You live by moonlight In the spaces between lines You occupy the lightly altered Heavily clouded corners of my mind You live in the sunrise In the rays of golden light That illuminate my eyes And gift me this sight You live on in the night In the wonder of the darkness The possibilities that are endless And I lament the emptiness This realm belongs to you Every particle I breathe Every step that I take I know in my soul You still will not be mine

The Night Does Not Belong To God
You live by moonlight In the spaces between lines You occupy the lightly altered Heavily clouded corners of my mind You live in the sunrise In the rays of golden light That illuminate my eyes And gift me this sight You live on in the night In the wonder of the darkness The possibilities that are endless And I lament the emptiness This realm belongs to you Every particle I breathe Every step that I take I know in my soul You still will not be mine
