Is it good to be bad?
A little evil?
Would it cover the sadness?
The ache in the world I’ve created for myself
So beautiful
Yet so scary
So full of kindness that may be stripped
May be stomped upon
May diminish at some point in time
But the clock ticks on
Changing by the minute
Is it good to be bad?
A little scary?
Would it make people want to give me nice things?
The sting gets stronger
More painful
Watching the devil receive his gift
Would it make hills easier to climb?
Less tears as I get higher
In a world that traps me in a soul whose purpose is to be kind
To save my people
To change a life or two
I ask myself
Is it good to be bad?
Would it be better to be evil?
