I walked into the room with a smile so bright, But beneath it, grief loomed in the night. Today's graduation day, a moment to cheer, Yet, Dad's absence echoes, bringing only tears. In silence, I hold your photo tight, Memories of laughter, now tinged with sorrow's night. Your guiding hand, no longer mine to hold, Leaves me lost, with a heart that's grown cold. The joy of achievement fades so fast, As pain and longing take their heavy cast. I search for solace, a shoulder to cry, But your embrace, dear Dad, I'll never deny. In this moment, happiness seems so far, As sorrow's weight bears down like a scar. Once happy, now twice sad, I roam, Longing for your presence, your love, your home.

ONCE HAPPY, TWICE SAD 🤧.
