At the break of dawn the curtains are drawn The doors are closed The sidewalks hosed The sun breaks the clouds The music is loud And the clowns wake up again Put on their masks to join the masquerade Their pain begins to fade When they hide And quietly slide, through the day The jokers fallen from the deck The angels have fallen again This world is never perfect Not even in the end

Even Angels Fall
At the break of dawn the curtains are drawn The doors are closed The sidewalks hosed The sun breaks the clouds The music is loud And the clowns wake up again Put on their masks to join the masquerade Their pain begins to fade When they hide And quietly slide, through the day The jokers fallen from the deck The angels have fallen again This world is never perfect Not even in the end
