Some options not available I cannot sleep on a bed of rocks, While birds all around shed their feathers And the lamb is shorn of its coat I cannot listen to soundless music When the conversation is demanded but books are not available I cannot be a friend When it is rude to get to know you And you attack me when I see you I cannot be someone to lean on When you condemn what makes me whole And disdain what I have to share with you I cannot pursue a beautiful life with you Because you have relegated nature To a practice of animal breeding I cannot give you medicine When to do so is to diminish your suffering And you alienate practice but not thought I cannot embrace a world of family When the history of the earth is silenced and the history of my family is not wanted And this has made you unlovable Because you forgot how to love Though your intentions are pure

many wrongs in the name of love. I will not be your next lover
