I learnt to anticipate everything early on in my childhood. To hear the thunder before lightning strikes, if ever at all. So don't be mad(ly in love )with me I'm trying to spare your feelings I'm working overtime, playing both roles, yours and mine. Thank me later, Now you are too scared of what if – you reject me and I reject you? I wouldn't but you'll never know because you would never even try. And that's your loss yet not my gain, either. On the bright side, though, in my head we live happily ever after. So why worry about what didn't or will never happen? Of course I've contemplated it Anticipated it Dissipated it In the end, it doesn't really matter, does it? It's not like I didn't anticipate it.
