Daisies

Growing like the daisies in a field

I’ll grow green and yellow till,

A storm or wind carries me away.

A nice little flower I will,

Make you smile and happy.

I will make you sneeze and sappy,

My petals will, bring joy to your eyes.

With grass around me I’m not lonely,

But I’d like a companion or two.

Just some friends to pass the day by as we,

Watch the clouds in the sky.

When I'm picked and danced between fingers,

The thought of you lingers.

When I'm dropped and forgotten,

It’s you who I’ll remember, though I am rotten.
