I think I met God the other day
begging for love on the street
I handed him a dollar, and gave him
the shoes, from off my feet
He told he didn't want them
they weren't a brand he wore
threw my dollar back at me
and in my face he swore
"You salve your mind and soul
handing out shoes and cash
you can try to fill that hole
with the products of your ***
"You roam around this Eden
stifling the air and seas
polluting everything, everywhere
and if it were up to me"
"I'd pass my verdict now
condemning such as you
to everlasting torments
thumbs tortured, under screws"
I stepped back aghast
composing my retort
I'm really not aggressive
or the violent sort
"Dear Lord please forgive
unawares, that we had strayed
you have me at a disadvantage
not knowing that, you felt that way"
I handed him the paper
these words, did I say
"I've been holding this cease and desist
not knowing when we'd meet
a complete injunctive writ
I got it from my lawyer
and he said
that's all
there is
to it"
"You've been served
have a nice day" :D
