Yeah. Just writing three lines of measured syllables doesn't really constitute a senryu. What's missing here is the cynicism and dark interpersonal philosophy; a turn of consideration much like the hokku origins. Try and revise it so the philosophy presents a turn of contemplation or a paraprosdokian aside. Or not. Up to you.
