It doesn't have to be forever It's not as permanent as some may think. It can fade away Just as easily as it can flourish. I'm a lover Not a fighter I was never the type To be affectionate But as time went on I learned to love it In fact I craved it. I still do Even more so I love your laugh how contagious it is how suddenly it occurs how uncontrollable it is how it sounds how it makes me feel I love your smile I love how you try to hide it How it makes me feel I love your brown eyes How they look at me how they pierce into my soul How they make me feel I love your name I love the way it sounds I love the way it's spelled I love the way it looks I love your words Your kindness Your humor Your compassion Your honesty I love everything about you. But if I say I love you Will you say it back? I don't think you will.
