Fire Ash and wood A spark A spark is all it takes For the flicker to grow Ignite, burn The lamp in the forest Like the thousands that burned before him Some burned brighter, others less Some spread to the trees, some died to the wind But it rains Plip-plop the sky goes And he goes out The forest, dark again, yet more fires will ignite, will illuminate Just like how he flickered, burned, and died out From dust he come and to dust he returns Just a small fire in the vast forest
